VASARELY 3D SERIES
LIGHTPAINTING 3D SULPTURE - 2014
Victor Vasarely was an inspiration for myself since my early childhood.
When I created a hugescale stencil-mural based on a black and white opart painting by Vasarely, I was confronted with lots of leftover cutouts from the production.
By the time, the overlap of the collected cutout-pieces lying around in a box inspired me to work with the material on abstract typography-related 3D sculptures.
The final result was a combination of the finished sculptures placed on a reflection foil and a single led ballpen, just swirling around the objects to light the sculpture and leaving traces around it.
