AEC FESTIVAL TRAILER
The annual Ars Electronica Festival in Linz is a highlight for everything related to art, technology and beyond.
I had the rare chance to create a sneak-preview festival teaser for social-media PR with the live recorded typography light paintings on location. The main idea was to work with the hashtag "#error" to pick up this years festivals theme and combine it with the location which was still under construction. The so called Postcity is a major concrete complex in the heart of Linz and each time worth a visit.
Besides the captured material which I shot with Virtual.Ink, also the stills were quiet worth the efforts. And I also produced the sound to make the thing a round package.
Das jährliche Ars Electronica Festival in Linz ist ein Highlight für alles rund um Kunst, Medien und darüber hinaus.
Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, mit den live aufgezeichneten Typografie-Lightpaintings vor Ort einen Sneak-Preview-Festival-Teaser für die Social-Media-PR zu erstellen. Die Hauptidee dahinter war, mit dem Hashtag "#error" das Festivalthema aufzugreifen und mit der noch im Aufbau befindlichen Location zu kombinieren. Die sogenannte Postcity ist ein großer Betonkomplex im Herzen von Linz und jedes Mal einen Besuch wert.
Neben dem aufgenommenen Material, das ich mit Virtual.Ink produziert habe, waren auch die Stills die Mühe wert. Den Sound habe ich auch produziert, um das ganze Ding zu einem runden Paket zu machen.
