SK8 LIGHTPAINTING SERIES
I was meeting up with Austrian Pro Skater Michèl Mahringer to explore some new outstanding lightpaintings, this time combining streetart, lightpainting and his skateboarding skillz, which sounds easy, but riding the board at night absolutly isn´t.
For this first shooting session I created a giant fried egg on a roly-poly halfdome obstacle at the Skatepark Linz a day upfront and when we went down there for the nightsession the other night, the daytime tricks seemed almost impossible at night. So we first focused on basics and like this, the "egg grind" was born.
Zusammen mit dem österreichischen Pro Skater Michèl Mahringer habe ich eine neue Lightpainting-Fotostrecke produziert, kombiniert mit eigener Streetart, Lightpainting und seinen Skateboard-Skills, was erstmal einfach klingt, aber nachts auf dem Board zu fahren ist es absolut nicht.
Einen Tag vor dem Shooting hatte ich auf dem Hotspot des Linzer Skateparks ein riesiges Spiegelei aus einem Halfdome Obstacle gemalt und als wir dann am nächsten Abend zur Nightsession dort waren, schienen die Tagtricks nachts fast unmöglich zu sein. Also haben wir uns zunächst auf das Wesentliche konzentriert und so war der "Egg-Grind" geboren, mit Fullspeed und Handplant über das Obstacle, anblitzen und nachträglich den Weg mit dem Pixelstick nachlaufen und heraus kamen surreale Lightpainting-Actionbilder.
